KYRA CRENSHAW
A native of central Texas, Dr. Kyra Crenshaw is proud to call Wichita Falls home. Born and raised in Texoma, she completed undergraduate studies in Microbiology at the University of Oklahoma, followed by a Family Medicine residency at the same institution in Tulsa.
The journey into medicine has been both professional and deeply personal. Diagnosed with a rare cancer at a young age and later undergoing open heart surgery, these experiences, while challenging, truly developed grit and compassion. They fueled a dedication to medicine and a desire to return the honor of life given by God and the care of wonderful doctors.
This background has shaped a commitment to providing thoughtful, comprehensive care. Each patient receives time and attention to understand their unique circumstances, addressing not just symptoms, but root causes of health issues. The approach is characterized by unhurried visits, careful listening, and a focus on building lasting doctor-patient relationships.
As a proud mother of a young son, there's a deep appreciation for family time and creating lasting memories. This personal experience enhances the understanding of family health dynamics and informs a family-centered approach to care.
